By lentremise of a graphic poetic gaits, the narrative is crossed by a sweet nostalgia, contrasting with the violent feelings that inhabit the characters. Alfred mavait already impressed with "Despair of the monkey," for his ability to ask atmospheres by the play of colors. Represented such naive frescoes in shimmering shades, the Alps and Italy evoke childhood trips, sparking a wonder, also strengthened by the presence of the little Fiat 500. The author seems at ease in different styles even if some bad language may conclude that it has not nen. His line instead breathes freedom, wants to be more stylized than in "Despair" more Zen in the interludes devoted to the past of the characters involved where only three colors desaturated, noting that quest back to basics and its corollaries, purity feelings and serenity.
Everyone can meet in one way or another in this tumultuous family plot not without demotion. A plot that takes time to explain the psychology of his characters who drive a Fiat 500 and not a Ferrari! - With unforeseen and anecdotal encounters but still carry meaning, that will affect the two brothers more or less conscious to the outcome of the story. The narrative sometimes suffers dimprécisions (I have not understood if Giovanni was living in France or Italy), and would have benefited from a little more compact, but it alone will not flat discouraged by reading the contrary.
