According to the manufacturer's installation when connected to the USB port should be automatic. This she did, and it was a "USB Smart Card Reader" installed. So far so good. Now the AusweisApp was launched and placed the NPA on the Reader, the NPA could not be recognized. Instead, there was always a blue screen when the device was removed from the USB. Somehow it was clear that there must be a driver issue. On the manufacturing side no indication and no drivers for Vista (only for Win2000 + XP). After hours of trial and error, it has finally worked: It has (in my computer / operating system configuration) actually a new driver to be installed. Quick Start Guide for the people who might have the problem for me: 1. Connect the cyberJack RFID basis. (AusweisApp possibly close) Find 2. Go into the Device Manager and the Device Tree in the branch "smart card reader" to "USB Smart Card Reader". 3. Right-click, "Update Driver Software ..." 4. Select "Browse my computer for driver software" (The automatic that looks on the computer / online, finds nothing, or installed the wrong drivers!) 5. "From a list of device drivers on my computer" button 6. Now are available (with me) 2 drivers (tick "Show compatible hardware" is set) is displayed: the original wrong, and the driver, "USB smart card reader" (sic!). And exactly these are German-speaking driver must be selected and installed by clicking on "Next". 7. The cyberJack from USB, wait a few seconds, then reconnect. 8. Open AusweisApp, put the NPA cyberJack, and look forward to the immediate recognition of nPA ...
Good luck everyone!
* Edit 07/05/2014: On a Windows 7 Professional system, the driver installation was carried out without problems immediately
(The 3 star's that it so does not indicate in support / download area of the manufacturer to correct possible problems when installing the driver was).
