Laptops having no analog modems, this kind of modem can be useful. Provided you do not forget ... The adapter cable is a RJ11 / RJ11 (small plugs ...) and our French telephone sockets are shaped like big "T" ... and each (almost) countries its own type of socket!
Otherwise, good product, small, no Vista driver problem.
