Many inexpensive USB-LPT adapters support only the output to a printer. Accordingly we find the device after installation in the Control Panel, System, Device Manager, USB controllers as a USB printer support. More can not stop these things.
The DeLock 66220> 1 x parallel is a true bi-directional interface. They can be found after installation in the Device Manager under COM and LPT ports. There can be the driver to a free port from LPT1 to LPT3 set, interrupts on or off, operating as LPT, or ECP or EPP for hardware freaks with kernel32.dll or inpout32.dll directly to the bits and bytes.
Installation under Windows XP and Windows 7 32 bit was plug and play: insert mini-CD, Express adapter push, let the automatic hardware detection do their job ... and freu`.
5 star - and radiates more beautiful than the other!
