Not easy to find the right finger-guide to help hold the pencil correctly. This is a satisfactory size for someone who knows the clip but can not keep his fingers out to the right endoit. Slips over standard type pencils wooden pencil size pen, colored pencils. A good point: the texture is so soft pleasant to use. My son has also found much to chew (which has not damaged). The locations for the fingers are clairements indicated. The index is on an oval with soft spikes. Regarding the efficiency I must say that for now I think the difference is not obvious. Still not enough practice?
