Yes, the long-haired man with no hat on the cover is actually the young Udo Lindenberg. And this is its first German album. There may be fans who refer to it as lean debut because little is losgerockt and instead experimented much. But I see it a bit differently. Especially this early 70s recordings convey nowadays a nice feeling of nostalgia, the later Udo plates missing. I grew up in the 80s, know the German zeitgeist and lifestyle of young people from this era only from early Tatort thrillers. (On drums the crime scene signature tune the way sat us' Udo.) But precisely this CD I put on when I want to descend again into the confusing-idyllic world of a middle-class Germans 70. Conclusion: A thought-provoking, non-commercial lyrically and musically soothing music.
