- First impression: Metal case, clear lenses, securely packaged with lens caps, so nothing scratched and additionally in a small leather bag ... also sas screwing went to Canon kit lens (18.55mm) well, without hook or scratch. Unbeatable for almost 10 euros!
- Image output: As I said here many times, you get black bars below about 22mm, so I was not surprised. About this 22mm but the picture was clear, good edge definition and also so I can not see any disturbing artifacts. But problems I could see from focal lengths from approximately 50-70mm (depending on the lens). When my telephoto lens (70-300mm) I could not use it because the image at the edges gets bright streaks and contrast is lost. The adaptation by using an adapter ring, for example, a 50mm f = 1.8 with diameter of 49mm resulted in the same image smearing. However, the adaptation to a 35mm f = 2.8 was working fine with diameter of 55mm. Whether it is but in fact the factor 0:45 when converting I would doubt. One should just not expect miracles.
In the end a nice game Errei that one in for example narrow buildings at Crop cameras certainly lends times more flexibility and increases the number of possible focal lengths. Who does not oversized expectations to the converter, will not be disappointed. I am satisfied!
