LA Noire offers a truly sensational backdrop. The LA of the '40s, along with the grandiose expression of many Charaktäre is truly amazing and absolutely worth seeing. Unfortunately, the game is quite repetitive and at times even quite boring in itself. The investigations and interrogations are indeed staged exciting, but offer little real interactivity. Often one feels as if one executes a shopping list. The action in the form of chases and shootouts reminds achieve their class very strongly to the GTA series but without. The biggest downer is in my eyes the very pale and unsympatische main character as well as the bumpy back story - because it is better by Rockstar clearly used (see GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption). Even the often very abrupt and unsatisfying conclusion some cases reduces the motivation considerably. Adventure-friends with an interest in criminal cases and a soft spot for the 40s will definitely get their money. People who view this scenario is not necessarily interested and reluctant crime series on TV, should not expect that the game they umstimmt.
