In the book series, more specifically on "Goldfinger" - I was amazed by the way, the third Bond - movie but the seventh novel Ian Fleming - I would possibly without an actual school work that refers to not encountered. Although I knew a long time from the book templates much interest I had previously but never mind. And that, I have to admit retroactively, is very unfortunate. Because even before I had read "Goldfinger" to the end, I was already so excited about it that I bought two more books in the series. This time out of pure self-interest and not because I have read the books "forced". I think that alone speaks for itself.
What the book or the book series makes generally, so special in the first place that it is in the characterization of the protagonist James Bond of the film series in some respects differs significantly. Better the movie set of her, you should probably fair to say, because the books were indeed there first. And these are very profound especially with regard to the character of James Bond. This is most apparent even in the first pages of "Goldfinger". There is a James Bond presented, reflecting on his actions, regretted, although he knows that he can not really afford this at his job. Also, the book is much less action-heavy than its cinematic presentation, yet not boring. Maybe "Goldfinger" is here but also an exception. I already have "Live and Let Die", the second Bond - novel read, and this is, though also not to the extent of the films, a lot more action than in "Goldfinger" in front. Anyway, then "Goldfinger" often reads more like a thriller and white as this but also to entertain excellent. Could you criticize the book at most, that perhaps the one time or another arises from the right towards the end emerging Action a touch of verbosity. But also contributes to this with certainly that something is described as a sprawling might need, such as the aforementioned game of golf, which if I remember correctly, it is likely to last for the 15 to 20 pages. Overall, "Goldfinger", apart from already mentioned light through hangers an entertaining and amusing spy - thriller with tension, a slight Action - share and a lead character who did not like the invincible hero of the films acts - but quite simply very human.
