Customer Review

What do you do when after long hunting trips through the primeval forests of America, a recent studio disc (Love Grenade), which already back is 6 years and the budget is a little tighter? You can be at the doctor's advice (Just What The Doctor Ordered).
In this case, the doctor probably has a live DVD / CD formulated.
Ted Nugent has brought a cut with his summer concert tour in America in 2012 to market and that's a good thing:

To make it short. Uncle Ted and his men rock the Haus.Von aging no trace. The 63 year old is in excellent shape. He pulls on the guitar out all the stops, whipped his merciless riffs and solos in the crowd and puts a playfulness to the day, what some other, younger musicians can learn a lesson itself.

The song selection is great - from old classics like "Stormtroopin", "Wang Dang Sweet Potang", "Stranglehold" indestructible "Cat Cratch Fever" on newer songs like "Raw Dogs & War Hogs" and the ultimate hunting anthem "Fred Bear" ,

Best in form are also his fellow musicians: Mick Brown (DOKKEN) on drums and Gregg Smith (ex RAINBOW) on bass.
Particularly pleasing is the return of Ted Nugent's old companions Derek St.Holmes on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. This was the last DVD Motor City Mayhem - this 6,000th Concert only 3 songs as a special guest. With 2 guitars, of course, comes the sound still much punchier and Ted Nugent shares the vocals with Derek St. Holmes. In "Need You Bad" sings bassist Greg Smith, what he does well.

Slightly sour encounters the steadfast patriotism of Nugent. Since railed against the government; the praises of the US Army sung; you hießt the US flag and wearing military helmets. But at least when Ted Nugent in "Great White Buffalo" with Indian feathers, and bow and arrow around gymnastics on stage and sunk an arrow on his guitar, is the Rock'n'Roll world back in order.

Camera image and leadership are impeccable. After a few small sound union difficulties in the beginning - as the backing vocals are too loud - the inclined listener has a well blended Live CD on.

Conclusion: Ted Nugent and his band are in fine fettle. A concert that just fun and also the whole band has clearly brings joy. In this Constitution Uncle Ted may be many concerts and the sloping rock fan should leave this disc necessarily prescribe by the doctor.
