Walimex Pro 500mm 1: 6.3 DSLR Mirror telephoto lens (34mm filter thread) for Sony A white lens mount (optional)

Customer Review

Many posts in various forums made me skeptical at first go to the subject mirror lens. Continuous reports that lenses are the real left, feel free to me until then came first posts, who have spoken positively about it.
There I could see the first images of such a lens that were actually not so bad. I was a mystery how you could just so stamped as 'bad', this lens. So I ventured to order.

First: This is not a 34mm filter thread. Or hits that apply only to the inner circle.
This lens has an aperture of 95mm proud!

The focusing is used to. Depending on the distance to the subject must be part very finely adjusted to get the necessary sharpness. Due to the large scope does that quite well, but can sometimes take 1-2 shots. Not discouraged, the game has you on it with a little practice. In such focal lengths is nunmal to expect.

The image performance is very good! Since I am completely satisfied.
I particularly like how the handy little device is. The diameter is indeed sick, but since it is so short, you can do without tripod towing. A suitable base for the decommission-is still recommended. 500mm are not to be underestimated when it comes to camera shake! Especially if you want to focus clean.

Conclusion: lentils fans will turn their nose, but I can not weighty differences to the lens model (also Walimex 500) determine who would speak against a mirror telephoto. At least in a direct comparison of the two models of this has the better image performance. - Just Fade I lack this objective (in bright aperture lens brings the model a little more by the DoF out), but their design is not possible.
