Torfrock's funny. For Sure. But it's so much more ... It's folklore, it's rock ... it's ... folk rock?!?! Anyway, this album is the first Torfrock album, a brilliant work. On the one hand we have several goofing around, the (more or less) funny texts and announcements (a matter of taste ...). On the other hand there is the really great music. With songs like "Rut mit'n peat (... dat matscht so beautiful)", "Rollo, the Viking" or "blinds baptism" to Torfrock must not hide behind the largest sizes, such as Jethro Tull. Anyway, you do not have very good hide ... And then you have to "Hey, Jo" even a grandiose interpretation of the Hendrix classic at the start. Unfortunately, I have to say that some people put off by the "Blödel factor" and give the wonderful music no chance often. Well, the lyrics of Whitesnake are not really intelligent and you can listen to their music still good. The lyrics of Manowar (see: "Ooooooooodiiiin!") While also funny, but somehow I think that this was not Mr. DeMaio's intention. Of course, here also ignites not every gag and sometimes you drift starting in silly climes. But text and music form a genuine unity. The music sets the mood, which converts the text then. Or vice versa ... Depending ... Isjaauchegal! Buy!
