unfinished, loveless, stripped down to a minimum

This game is pure insolence and disrespect towards the customer, towards the whole loyal Sims gamer community.
I since Sims 1 here and have since even loved and played all the parts of the game with all the problems and glitches. This is dei pure disappointment.
I recommend all to buy this game via Origin, since there the way it is to return.
So, now to the substantive part of the review:
There are nice touches, there are very funny moments in Spiel..aber
It would be a full-fledged new Sims 4, there is still the open world, just revised and not so flawed as in Sims 3, elaborated all ages more detail and then you would have the good new construction mode of Sims 4, the new emotional ledge and the new extensive CAS added.
So it is but half a step forward and 10 steps back.
This is not a "back to the roots" in the good sense.
Disappeared from the game
- Free color and pattern selection
- Infants
- Pools
- Family Tree
- Cars
- Open world
- Stores
- Babies as objects, as in Sims 1

Much is added with paid DLC certainly, but some, such as the open world, free choice of colors and so there is not.
The game lacks every nook and cranny, and that is not the void that occurs when changing from one with DLC-packed game back to a basic game. It's just not innovative, raw and simple yet unfinished. Certainly the fact plays a role that it was yet umgebastelt from a planned online project for single-player game within 1.5 years.
I feel from EA to meinn Favorite game just cheated.
This talk of lack of technical possibilities to implement some stuff is just ridiculous.
Take for example the graphics of the sims 4 is now just bad, stand by the average game of about 2008. And that should be the basis of 5-6 years of fun and DLCs. This is intended to 2019-20 still play?
Furthermore, I am convinced that the loading screens, which appear at the moment between the respective land are getting longer and longer over time, so that in the end the open world of Sims 3 is still faster.
The technical possibilities there were sure that everything better, more elegant and faster to solve. But it has not been exercised.
Sims 4 is just such a shame as SimCity5.
Conclusion: Do not buy it you! And certainly not for the outrageous price, the EA required here.

Sadly, as you can down economies such a successful and great franchise so.
