I have been working since November 2013, the software and bought it because of allegedly stunning test results in the active video. After many months of experience I can only say that I am no longer willing to give the beta testers for CyberLink. I do not want haarklein describe everything because I was otherwise occupied for a whole day, to break down all the problems with this software. After purchasing and immediate installation on a fresh new Windows 8 high-end notebook with the company ACER highend graphics card NVidia, the product did not want to run only once. After several calls to the support hotline you came to the conclusion I had to reinstall the system. I have until now made completely twice! Who does not know what kind of work, I can tell .... that there are many hours or whole days takes such a system again completely set up. After the first attempt (ie second installation of PowerDirector 12) failed, this was carried out again with another clean installation and complete cut-off of all system programs and software. Man blamed for CyberLink another software (eg antivirus software) for the problems. Note: I have no software installation at each computer in my life (and that takes up over 26 years of computer experience back) ever experienced. After the software was actually short time stable and error free. But unfortunately, so need a software package also Internet and I for protection so an appropriate protective software. It appeared again many mistakes and problems in the program, to inexplicable crashes, errors in video and image construction, wrong program functions in transition, it can not be written and much more a common special characters. I have since Nov. 2013 is now installed and 3 updates in the software I find still almost daily mistakes and problems, for example, I can no @ symbol in the indication of an email address and add a burning a DVD is no longer possible with menu , After 9 months of absolute Software hell I AMAZON today asked for cancellation and will decide for another product. In order to save this, you should do before even this dear. Take rather what ..... from Germany or mature products, for that I can only urgently advise. The hotline had Supoort often problems with the simplest function questions and sometimes you were really helpful and competent. This out of the respective employees from, who had just tuned. But they were always nice, helpful and patient, it must be said honestly. But what good is a that when you finally get stuck and will conclude what?!? So let the fingers of the product !!!!
