I would like to join the opinion of Wolfgang here. Dear Philips, what do you think you here to deliver something to your customers. Ambilight and the image have totally convinced me, but the rest is not to believe. When we got the TV, we had the following state. Apps only work partially, 3D not going tuning will only ARD + ZDF everyone else as RTL + Pro7 etc. no chance. Speakers make loud noises. The operation is in short, a disaster. So looked for new firmware, unfortunately, was the Current. Searched the web for solutions and now yet found in Philips a newer firmware. Take time means an update, download 450MB, find a matching USB stick and still struggling through the English description. Recorded firmware and suddenly go all apps. That's it then but also already. If Philips is a new firmware, some issues are resolved, but some things suddenly no longer go there to work. With the current version, 3D is still lacking, tuning can always find something else, but not everything. Filters do not work, the sort in the favorites list, the system depends on. 2D convert to 3D, as the system crashes so from that you just can pull the plug. Experiment after a week I have no more desire and will return the unit to the dealer. Unfortunately, it looks similar with all other Philips TVs. It seems to me that Philips has a massive problem with the software. We are now going to buy us a TV from another manufacturer. As I said, Ambilight and picture are great, but the rest is a matter of luck and brings you to despair.
