What bothers me most is that the scale filter is held by an extremely wide plastic tab that blocks the pouring region. So you must be careful / pour restrained, otherwise the water will sooner rather than at the side out through the large area locked spout.
The hinged lid is a gimmick with whom I can live, the opening / closing mechanism, however, do not like. Implementation seems cheap with internal plastic parts (do not see you). When you open the knob hooked something (feel ugly). You can close the lid with a lot of pressure, because it is held but only of a plastic hook I expect thus rapid wear and press the button prefer even when you close the lid.
The kettle does not sit flat on the bottom but on the underbody of the digester there are six plastic 'pimples' on which the boiler stands. It therefore seems a little 'shaky'.
The criticisms do not constitute a major limitation, I noticed only because I expect a product for the price, which is perfectly designed and best 'ever' holds (in the opening mechanism questionable). Another note (no criticism), the cooker was actually a bit bigger than I had imagined, as the minimum capacity is 0.5L indicated. For a one-person household in which one would be most cooks just a cup of tea probably a 'travel kettle' practical.
