Have the cable get sent within 3 days and was quite curious if a modestly priced cable delivers what promises to be a majority of the reviews. My cable was not the way, as seen in one of the product images, Ferridkerne as additional screening. - Unfortunately, the cable with me could not convince 100%. - I have the cable to a Sanyo Z3 connected using a HDMI / DVI adapter, and then fed through various sources with an HD signal at different resolutions: 1) Test the HDMI / DVI adapter via a 1m long HDMI cable to the DVI output on my laptop: Top image up to the maximum possible 1080i. Say the adapter is working properly before (by the way also on Amazon). 2) Test with the 15m cable between projector and laptop. Here, unfortunately, is from 576p closing with good quality and everything gets a higher resolution horizontal pixeligie lines. The higher the resolution the more disturbances are seen. Here the cable seems so but clearly exhibit a loss of signal. 3) Test with the 15m cable between projector and HDMI output AV amplifier (Onkyo 709): Again, I come to a maximum of 576p resolution. Everything with a higher resolution does not even come on the projector to. 4) Out of curiosity, I have now tested the 15m cable or between AV amplifier and HD-TV (Samsung). Here the cable was, amazingly, handle any resolution without problems. Conclusion: The cable appears to have a loss of signal 'see my comparison test with 1m cable versus 15m cable to the projector. Apparently it depends but the display device from whether this loss of signal has an effect or not (see good results on HD-TV). Thus, it probably needs a bit of luck if you manage the 1080p with this Cable or not. But for the price you can take the risk.
