Like the last album the Apes have unfortunately lost their bite. I do not mind that a band changed over the years and "adult" is, but in "Offline" I can somehow find anything Innovative / Inter Santes. With me no song is stuck. As observed already in a previous review, the first song sound all very similar ... just the chorus lost in the same old, polyphonic, slick hoot. Radio is not enough: Yes. Interesting: No.
Only in the last three songs (especially "Jiggle") here and there shine through some nice ideas. Why have the Apes no more courage to experiment?
