First the positives:
- Printing, scanning and faxing

- Relatively compact (fully constructed approximately 39x40x35 cm)
- Relatively quiet
- Can not shake the desk
- Envelopes, labels, business cards, etc. can be printed on very well.

Negatives:
- Annoying high beep from the device when turning, cleaning and sporadically during operation,
- Power LED lights constantly, even in standby mode,
- Very dark display. The display can be in dark rooms hardly read,
- Compared with Canon substantially poorer print quality,
- The device stores the alleged level of the cartridge on the chip of the cartridge. If the device means that a cartridge is empty, it stops operating. The cartridge in question must be replaced, even if it is not empty.
- Cumbersome replacement ink cartridges. That is, prior to changing a cartridge, the corresponding menu item must first be selected, so that the print head moves to a position for changing cartridges.
- Security is virtually non-existent: The machine prints even when the housing is opened further, so that the fingers and hands can be pinched. In my view, the danger for tie carriers and women with long hair.
- Very sensitive printhead
- Very often, the print head is clogged, even with original ink. I even had to return it for repair to the manufacturer the device.
- Clean the print head makes the problem worse in principle. First, only strips printed by the print head cleaning the color in question is no longer printed.
- A unclogging print heads is possible, if at all, only with alcohol. This is very complicated, because the print head is built into the device. Certainly this cleaning method is not good in the long run for the printhead.
- Often, the chip is not or no longer detected on the cartridges.
- Foreign Ink does not go. Either clog the printing head, the chip is not recognized or the chip is first detected and after a few days no longer. Investments in foreign ink I have only used quality cartridges and still had these problems.
- Original Ink is very expensive. Normal cartridges have a capacity of only 3.1 ml. XL cartridges have approximately twice the capacity. Prices range depending on the dealer 7-19 euros per cartridge. The device uses four cartridges (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black (CMYK))
- A cartridge is only enough for about 200 pages.
