1.) First, no successful printing was possible. Even when printing the test page was a paper jam, so that the respective sheet has not been fully transported to the output tray and was in several places very wavy / dragged and the pressure was either not carried out or only on parts of the sheet and then soiled. This problem could be solved by using the Kyocera hotline by a handicapped Make some papierbefördernder components and was believed to have been caused by transport.
2.) After a few test printing, the printer began to slowly but surely, in activity (ie printing, calibrating, refreshing the drum etc.) to squeak very loudly and at high frequency in addition to the actually operating noise. After several minutes activity of the printer that was right next to my desk, I had a distinct beeping in the ear. More extensive print jobs would therefore not make sense possible if you are staying in the same room.
3.) Although the CMYK colors are displayed correctly for themselves, the representation of some grays is very unevenly on the sheet. While the left side is a good cover is done, it takes the right edge down significantly from visible. For tables with a corresponding charge or graphics, the print image is thus unacceptable.
These problems have meant that I return the device kidney. It should be pointed out that the actual functionality (driver installation, printing speed, etc.) is good and well - apart from the problem with the grays - the print quality itself is good. Therefore, I assume that you can be quite happy with the device, if you caught one without defects. In particular, the printing costs are quite low compared to other printers in this class. Here one should note, however, that is just absolutely got to use original toners for Kyocera devices.
