I wanted to replace 14 windows handles of my old plastic box where the screws were rotated even from on top (visible).
The handles are quite light and are well in hand. Rattle and crack each twice per 90 ° rotation, which should be some function of Hoppe apparently. At first I was irritated, but have then got used to it. The appearance is very nice.
The screws I could not use, because they were too thick for my (20 year old) window. The 2 knobs that come out the back and should be plugged into the window were clearly too thick, so I had to extend the holes from the plastic box with a 10-er drill. After that, the grip went almost all the way in (to the metal frame), but not perfect. This is not a product defect, but one should note that already - (to see in the second picture) this hard rubber studs are approximately 10mm in diameter.
But what bothers me more is that the handle of the screwdriver or a friction with the screws scratched by almost any contact with a harder subject than the hand, eg,. The top layer is easily carried away, so visible, dark scratches arise and what looks very silly. This can hardly be avoided unfortunately during installation - and also the bag with the handle pops eh constantly against the screw during transport, so that some handles have got slightly scratched.
For the price you can hardly complain, because the quality of the art seems to be good. If there's just a resistant paint ...
