Carrying system: The straps work well processed and well adjusted. The chest strap is adjustable in height, but unfortunately not as with some other backpacks removable (the straps are firmly sewn into the plastic parts). Personally I do not like chest straps and left open interferes with the equipment hanging loose something.
The lap belt can unfortunately not be "put on the shelves," if you do not want to use it. Some Daypacks the lap belts can be stowed in slit pockets at the back.
Furthermore, missing simple loops through which you could plug the loose ends of adjustable straps so as to avoid the Rumbaumeln the belt ends.
Padding: The padding of the backpack is almost overdone for my taste. But that may be because I rumtrage no photo equipment worth several thousand euros with me and therefore feel no such extreme need for protection. Yet I did not dare, but it looks like as if one could something even turn turn, when speaking of the two three-layer structured cushion layers (two layers of foam with a flexible plastic plate in the middle) each have a layer "abpult".
Dividing the photo subject: Here Lowepro has presented an unnecessary amount of flexibility, the professional division can be adjusted only within narrow limits. Read As in another review, the division mainly for larger DSLRs with correspondingly large lenses and frame sizes is suitable. For my current Micro Four Thirds (plus flash, telephoto zoom, filter, etc.) I have a just make satisfactory division found, but only with a little improvisation. With little changes here would be part of the manufacturer support for a larger camera range to provide: It would take quite a lot, if simply the entire inside of the photo subject would be lined with fleece material - as is the case for example in the Kata 3N1 series.
Open the photo times: A key selection criterion for me was that without the backpack completely settle quickly zoom is by design hatching of a belt and frontward Get to the camera. Unfortunately you have quite fiddly to open a two-way zipper here at Fast Pack 350. Here, the solution used in Kata 3N1 would be fixed: An easy with a handle for opening snap lock with which you then also the two-way zipper "aufzerren" can.
Why I'll keep him despite the small disadvantages: The alternative Kata 3N1 is better in some details, but on the other hand be relatively low comfort in reviews was noted here already occasionally. Remained as the main advantages of the flexible dividing the photo tray, faster handling and more options when wearing (as Sling Bag with a belt, two belts parallel as backpack straps or crosswise). On the other hand the 3N1 has no exterior mesh pocket for his side symmetrical design and is especially much more expensive. Therefore, I stay at the Fastpack 350 and hope for an early "update" by the manufacturer. Two FastPacks would only marginally more expensive than the advertised price of the Kata 3N1-33 ...
