I've washed the sheets as recommended before first use at 60 degrees. Since I already knew that they would change color, I immediately dialed the pre-wash and used a color detergent and ink trap towels. The result was shocking. Long bright red longitudinal strips coated over the entire white color matches. So I have the clothes washed a third time, this time at 40 degrees and with a heavy-duty detergent. This has removed some of the discoloration. The small red beads, which have become detached from the flannel and the slight pink discoloration of the entire bedding but remain well. 3 stars there anyway, because the color is very beautiful and the bedding feels cozy.
