The scale works as described, but there are two very big deficiencies: - If you raise a larger piece of luggage (10 kg or more) on the HOLD function in practice can not be upheld, since even in the lightest tremors or shaking the measured weight fluctuates by more than 10 g. As you lift such a weight only when standing with hanging arm, the display can not read it. Putting off the display value is gone. - At lower weights I could keep the load steady enough so that the HOLD function has grasped. However, the value is kept only for 1-2 seconds in the display, so you have to bend down quite fast to read before the display jumps back to zero. CONCLUSION: As the typical baggage weighs more than 10 kg regularly, you can only read the value if a second person is (a lifts, a reading from). For the travel practice in my eyes useless, therefore returning and only 1 point.
