That sounds tempting, and the Mantona Scout can fulfill the expectations of even the most part, it deserves in my opinion at this price definitely a strong buy recommendation!
Of course, there are some minor savings over more expensive brand tripods (I call that now times whining at a high level):
- Unfortunately, the individually usable or replaceable ball head has no second adjustment screw friction (sliding resistance)
- The center tube is not shortened, though you could potentially fold almost horizontally three legs, thus the minimum working height by the length of the central tube to about 40-50cm is limited, you could unscrew the central tube still as many professional tripods is the case actually taking pictures near the ground would be possible!
A shortened central tube for this application does not seem to be separately made commercially available.
- Or take pictures close to the ground you can still because the central tube can be installed fortunately the other way around, but then you shoot headlong.
- The lower end of the central tube consists only of a rubber cap, which is simply pushed over. This cap can possibly verlohren go easily.
- Unfortunately my tripod reeked unpacking still so intense Rubber, factory, etc. so that it once had to spend a few days in a well-ventilated garage, because air pollution.
- A small product description, manual, care instructions or so something like that was totally absent in the delivery, which I think is very unfortunate. Tripod newcomers will possibly not know that you only need to fix only loosely tightened set screws fixed on the ball head screw plate with the factory settings!
If one does not do this immediately, the three set screws can also go very easily get lost before they have been discovered at all.
Some additional tips for binding of the joints, which is called here often:
1. stiff or Smooth as you want it, is often a matter of taste.
2. The temperature and sometimes the humidity beinflußen now times with a metal tripod by the thermal expansion of the metal and the toughness of the grease a little joint mobility.

What else I was positive:
- Removable disks are individually sold separately (for the secondary camera, or if you lost what goes)
- The Pocket
