Bought in February with operating system Win 8, the Acer Aspire One 756. After a short time the unit was in the Auto Shutdown and drove straight back up ????? First I thought of updates, but because the process is constantly repeated, I turned to Acer. Help came immediately. After I followed various instructions did nevertheless nothing. Well I should send it to the device for free Acer. The unit was promptly picked up the next day by UPS (UPS unfortunately given no acknowledgment of receipt to the customer from - actually a pity because one has no evidence that you have given to the unit (here UPS should rework time)). a day later I received already a defect report - wow !!!! And 2 days later I had the device already back - yay !!! Unpacking the unit and connected - and what happens after 15 minutes ???. _ "Auto Shutdown" - how annoying. It is reportedly the motherboard has been replaced, but as you can see it has not helped. I was offered to send in the unit again, and were very sorry, but I'm going in the near future for 1 year after New Zealand I have no time for such games. I have returned the device via Amazon historian and anstandlos get my money back (here's a bold praise to Amerzon). Acer has now got a 2nd chanche - I again ordered the same device, as it is a great netbook except for this problem.
