If I do not even have to be at UM I also have the resale value
and that makes things with the loaner completely obsolete.
The 4 per month for the HD option in Unitymedia would anyway due regardless of whether or not their devices.
So HD option on the UM website and this receiver via Amazon ordered simultaneously.
The receiver arrived after two days and the HD option was already active.
From then on everything was easy
* Receiver connected
* Old UM02 from the rental receiver out and the pure TT
* Switched on and automatic. Firmware update performed (for the new recording function).
* Station search
* Black picture on all HD channels except the public service ??? !!! ???
* UM02 smart card activated again on the UM website
* To see all channels open and in full bloom
The receiver is TOP!
He has a razor-sharp HD image,
the normal SD channels look much better than the old Samsung receiver.
The sound of my Dolby Receiver is also TOP
(Samsung rental receiver sometimes had as specially audio dropouts in Dolby Digital films despite Toslink Cable High End)
PS:
For those who want to use the new recording function
and with the idea of playing the new remote control to order,
I recommend thinking about a universal remote control.
I ordered shortly after the purchase of the TTS, the One For All URC 8603 Xsight Touch
(Components with 7 controllable HiFi & TV + radio outlets for light sorely needed)
and found that already the latest codes of TT includes this remote,
thus the recording control of the TTS complete functions.
