Buddhism for Dummies is an excellent starting point for those who have questions on this philosophy and wonder if this path is made for them. The book is divided into thematic chapters (the history of Buddhism, the various testimonies, and the preconceptions .... etc) and you can navigate according to our questions. The purpose is simple but certainly not simplistic, authors who know their stuff (one of them became a Buddhist monk) do not lack humor and really make their very lively explanations. At no time Buddhism is presented as THE answer to everything, it is far from any proselytism and feels free to accept or not the explanations.
