This book is not only remarkable in that it gives a fairly complete biography of Guenon and his spiritual life journey, he describes a key time of the French occultism, but also because it presents all facets of the influence of Rene Guenon on French thought and pérennialiste US, not to mention its impact on French Freemasonry, especially the Grand Lodge of France and the French National Lodge. Player (OK, critical, while I still admire some master pages, particularly those relating to the initiation and symbolism) of Guenon, I had never been able to read a book and also ransacked full impact on the sensitive Guenon on esoteric thought and perennialism. I discovered such thinkers as Jean Borella, whose austere books worth visiting. Congratulations to the author.
