There were about 21GB of data from different folders copied with different structures and file sizes from the MacPro on plates. Result:
1 copy on a USB 2.0 hard drive CnMemory AIRY (1TB capacity) via a USB 2.0 port => about 11 minutes
2. Copying a Intenso Memory Center USB 3.0 Hard Drive (1TB capacity) via a USB 2.0 port => about 11 minutes
3. copying to the same disk Intenso on Inatek USB 3.0 card => 2.5 minutes
So when the system has the data not zwischengesichtert somewhere and the second copy of the same data would have gone anyway faster, then this has definitely paid off. The 4-times speed is quite impressive, and I am angry why I did not do it much earlier. The price is so ridiculous for performance.
Disks formatted with me OSX journaled with GUID table.
Just buy it on MAC.
