The cans themselves are not really bad (at least for the price) and for short distances they work really well, so for example, a small wall opening into the next room. A range of 1m to 2m fixed wiring (in the wall) are thus feasible, if you add about 1,5m counted on both sides of the wall for wiring the terminals.
Why 2 stars?
The crux is that the damping is very high through the connector, was higher than I expected. I wanted to use it in order to realize the above (or below the wood) ceiling connect AV receiver to beamer, or from PC to projector. The distances are here your wired 7,50m and 10m. When I connect my device directly to the cable it works flawlessly. Once only 1 socket in between "connected", there is strong transmission errors (rows of pixels in the image).
There are to my knowledge no standards for HDMI-house cabling (also on HDMI.org I found nothing - except for a recommended cable length of 10 m), but the work with cable lengths of some 20m without repeaters, I thought that 2 connectors (at least at 7.50 m) are not the world. Well, one can be fooled.
I will now times try with HDMI repeaters, possibly more reviews are in the product segment then to read from me;)
Conclusion: for short distances as in wall penetrations to the next room perfectly adequate, for longer distances but not recommended.
