The stories are entertaining and sometimes exciting - some quests I've really done only because I wanted to know how it ends, even though I was on the level too high. Here SWTOR its strengths.
However bothered me from the beginning, the poor interface that can not adapt and max. 2 windows can display the same time. In addition, a noticeable lag sucks at fighting - this one feels sometimes more, sometimes less.
The skill trees are not terribly exciting and act very "old school" - here would have helped a more modern or freer system. A system as in RIFT I like as much better.
The graphics are adequate - the textures are washy and deteilarm, but the worlds act atmospheric and are very varied. Unfortunately, this is of stationary NPCs (even the mobs move practically not at all and 80% are only silent rum) and inanimate environments (not so moving in the wind flags or sheets, no small animals) often nullified.
At level 50 there is then little to do. Handful of daily and always the same quests and Flashpoints. These are quite nice, but some (as 17:01:12) extremely buggy and often it's more a matter of luck whether a boss is not just spinning again and so the difficulty raises unintentionally.
The raids are also nice, but since only a very slight Boss includes there was by then really only 1 with the Eternal chamber. This was not particularly difficult, but offered quite nice bosses Encounter and a pleasant setting. Unfortunately, here was quite often bugged (Bosse, the reset is not correct, boxes that can not be looting, etc.)
In addition, here the interface was disturbing as usual features such as "Target of Target" does not exist and there healers, but also make DDs unnecessarily difficult. That's just not up to date anno 2011/12.
In addition, the game rarely came to me like a MMORPG before, but more like in single player game with a somewhat more extensive multiplayer component. One sees almost never more than 20-30 players and I felt most lonely (compared to other MMOs that these names deserve).
About the extremely slow and helpless customer you should not just talk - that is the question. Problems with loot and items are only "is a mistake, but since we can do nothing" dealt with - and even that lasts up to 5 days. Again, I have to compare with the competition and because such as Rift cuts significantly better.
Here is a little faster Rating:
Graphics: 3/5
Sound: 3/5
Operation / Interface: 2/5
Single Payer to 50: 5/5
Muliplayer to 50: 4/5
Single Payer from 50: 1/5
Muliplayer from 50: 3/5
Customer Support: 1/5
The game itself is worth the money and bietete entertainment to the max. Level, then it is very thin and also grind-heavy.
My SUBSCRIPTION I have not finished - instead I play RIFT continue because I just can there make more, it looks better, much has fewer errors, better customer support and new content every few weeks to come.
Nevertheless, I'll keep an eye on SWTOR and presumably after Update 2 (to come in March) again looking purely for a month. A durable subscription is currently me but just not worth it.
