Unusable because of too many errors, cumbersome to use

Deficits

In the Media Library does not appear if a file in the current project is already in use, or not. It is also not possible to rename a media file locally in the library or on the project. While there are audio filters, but these can not be applied to the audio portion of a video, but only on a separate audio track. The volume of a video clip can be set in per cent, while the blender is working elsewhere with decibels. It is not possible to change the volume of an area, but you must move any existing handle with the mouse, which can be quite tricky in small traces.

However, the problem occurs when certain clips again and again (with SP1). Also with SP1 crashes the program when playing the timeline.

My attempt a nearly two-hour video (2 video tracks (99% only one used), a title track, an audio track) may be obtained in HD720 on a BlueRay all failed. Rendering ended without further notice after a few seconds. I found out that (do not know Ogg for what that is) by deleting the audio track, the Vorbis files contained renders the project, but the stabilized with Mercalli clippings continually brought the message that Mercalli must be called again. I have the whole thing on the already invested work (more than 200 cuts in a project to anything compatible format) the video cut to about 15 minutes from despair into several parts and rendered as MP4. At the end I have assembled it with another program.

Unfortunately, the low cost segment almost any software is equally bad, and the more professional software (eg EDIUS Grass Valley) is not only more expensive, but also requires a lot of knowledge about internals at the settings that the manual ausschweigt despite many pages. Even so, you can create projects that can not be burned to BluRay (without detailed justification or prior warning). Produced times but useful (and usable) software!
