Had indeed already read in the description somewhere that the RAM is soldered, but still had the hope that a 2nd empty slot is available. When I turned the unit, I noticed before on that the battery is firmly installed. While the device is throwing you off rather than to someday buy a battery pack due to the prices but precisely for this reason, I run a PC / Notebook / Netbook at home monitor and the power cord plugged in happy times without battery. That's when the Asus unfortunately not possible. After having solved 7 screws on the bottom side, I was already at my wit's end. Wanted to damage anything and therefore take my rights of return. I got the Panel simply not starting. Then violence I wanted no use. After I then also my SSD hard drive could not install and me the aforementioned things too much had already anyway, I packed the device again and sent back. I can not say anything about the actual performance of this device.
