Update on Remedy 4.3 unfortunately still rubbish, but there is!

Use the S3 now for about 4 months. Under Android 4.1, the part was still very good, but Version 4.3 was unfortunately a rather large step backwards in terms of performance, but especially when it comes to battery life. The last time I had big problems to come under 4.3 to the battery at all during the day - this is not at all !! Finally, I stumbled across the CanogenMod, which brings Android 4.4.2 with it, and the phone incidentally freed from lousy Touchwiz and all other Samsung typical garbage. So I made a backup, all data is backed up and played the (really foolproof) CyanogenMod Installer on the PC, and install the appropriate .apk on the device. Everything else is virtually of its own accord. After the update, now everything has improved, the phone runs smoother and more stable than ever before, and the battery lasts longer than ever through. In addition, the functional scope has expanded massively. It's a shame that Samsung offers no reasonable current firmware for this phone, but fortunately there are plenty of alternatives. With the standard Samsung Android 4.3 version I give the phone 3 stars, with Cyanogen there are smooth. 5 On the hardware I would not at all go into, there are all the cards on the table. One thing is clear, the phone must be of performance, not hide even against the latest devices! And Price / Performance-wise, there is currently little more for the money (good cars, there are finally available for less than 200). But: Do not just blindly install the CyanogenMod - only inform. And do not be put off by the root (superuser) to bring the mod itself.
