While I have not purchased the player from Amazon, but I think the reviews here very helpful. Therefore, here are my own. After much comparison of many players I chose because of the unbeatable price / performance ratio for the Panasonic. Essential requirements were I presented to the player: - Blu-ray playback (incl. 3D and 4K - coding) -. Networking capabilities (LAN) including access to DLNA capable NAS - 2. HDMI Outputs (connecting direct to TV and to the AV Rceiver) - Connections for external media (USB SD Card) - Decoding of popular formats (especially MKV and FLAC) All these conditions are met the 465 - after two weeks of trial period - without any problems. Sometimes a couple of tricks are necessary, such as Can a USB-connected hard disk only "FAT" formatted. The usual under MacOS "Journaled" is not supported ie the drive is not recognized. Here, the problem could arise that Ultra-HD recordings in this way could not be displayed because these files are often larger than can be managed in the FAT file system. Pleasant are the two USB ports on the front panel, which can easily be reached with an open front panel. Not common in this price range is the SD card slot, which is also located in the front. Here I have found very pleasant that the card completely disappears in the shaft. Thus, the front panel - are closed, and turns off the display - unlike the use of USB ports. The processing itself is sufficient for my needs. The top of the housing is made of plastic, but it seems like optically brushed aluminum. By and by the compact dimensions, the box will be felt after two hours quite hot and could the running noise of the drive in the DVD / BluRay operating in quiet movie scenes disturbing. For the average consumer, I think the Geräuschnieveau for more than acceptable and far below what the "50-Euro-class" offering. Analogue audio outputs I miss on the device in any way. It is a BluRay and no CD player. Who needs all the latter option and an over sensitive hearing (some call it audiophile ;-)) should decide on the BDT-700, or equal access to high-end cars from Oppo or Cambridge. However, I think this all-in-one concept for silly. These devices replace mE no quality CD player for the most part of BDT 465 will be sufficient as a media control center completely. Only real complaint I have is in my eyes as housing. And the two aspects: 1. I accept still when many cheaper and less functional player - which is probably mostly stand on its own - is thrown with some 25 cm width on the market. But why Panasonic at 465 although a much wider level selected (415 mm) but not equal to the one used in the industry standard measure uses 435 mm, is completely incomprehensible to me. The device looks like you have the left and right each cut one centimeter housing. 2. a player in this price range would have been able spendieren a metal case. If this were to be somewhat higher (7 instead of 5 cm) and have been deeper, the above-mentioned heat buildup would probably have resolved itself. By comparison, my 8 year old Medion DVD player these two conditions fulfilled - price then 80.00!
