20 years after keeping fond memories of the film and the soundtrack of Mikhalkov and Russian Artemiev, I was delighted to read the exploits of an exotic policeman down, I shortcuts, Genghis Khan! this book is (a little too) cleverly done, rather well written for my taste, and the first 200 pages allow to pleasantly acquainted with the stereotypical characters in local color; we see that the author is well documented (shamanism, Garments, food, landscapes, smacks of Soviet habits, appetites Chinese, Korean, ...)! it looks like a beautiful documentary on Arte! but over time, it is a little gate, the twists do not stop bouncing ... (! sometimes creeping toward grotesque), the strings appear and it becomes like eternity in Woody Allen: A little long, especially towards the end! a book I can recommend but would have gained in sincerity with 200 pages shorter
