I have the case already in use in February, but only so far via FW 800. Now that I've got myself a new Mac mini (Late 2012), of course I wanted the opportunity to use the housing via USB 3.0 to connect. Unfortunately, the hard drive has been detected but only sporadically, and then it never was actually possible to access the data. It turned out that a firmware update is required for use on a Mac (as of 2012), which you get at the following address: (please type URL correctly!) InXtron com / firmware / SK2500-u3plus firmware. Please be sure to follow the instructions on the page !! After the firmware update the housing via USB 3.0 works fine.
I have already had several FP housing, but this is by far the best that I've ever had. This is of inXtron a firmware update with respect. The problem with Mac computers, of course, is another plus point.
