I've recorded and constructed with HomeMatic in my apartment, the heating control, all the doors / windows with contacts and the outside temperature. As software I use on a FHEM ZBox as Server (formerly a Raspberry Pi = goes well). Since the new valve actuators HM-CC-RT-DN have a firmware update needed. Since it is only possible with the Central CCU2 or USB configuration adapter I bought this USB configuration adapter at Amazon. First, I've downloaded the new firmware for the USB configuration adapter and installed and then downloaded dei new firmware 1.4 for the valve drive that I'd recorded the Stellantirebs. Then it's quite simple: 1. Add the Ventilantireb in the update mode (FBD at shows) 2. Software start (Id specify invite eq3 firmware and then perform the update). The software is actually available only for Windows.
Otherwise, I still had no use for the USB configuration adapter. But I wonder time trial basis to replace the HM-CFG-LAN adapter through the USB Adapter.
