with the supplied firmware there were at my Metz 52-AF1 problems (flash is mounted on a 622c, Camera: 6d). When switching the zoom flash eventually stopped responding, the zoom-head did not move. Even when the shutter is released it happened very often that the flash is not triggered with. Beginning on the verge of the 622c-TX to send back (I assumed that producers in China have never heard of the German Blitz manufacturer METZ and thus could their device not vote on these). But: The firmware 1.4 actually resolves these problems! Was delivered to my device with 1.3, so here loht definitely an update.
However, the Metz can not manually adjust via radio to 1/128, at 1/64 is closing. That is, even if I go on 1/128 at the transmitter, nothing happens on the flash. Unfortunately, this is a "feature" of the Metz flash, it can be regulated only on the device itself manually to 1/128. That has something to do with the fact that the flash in the HSS operating no 1/128 can and Metz wants to prevent it comes to coordination problems of the devices involved when switching via radio (even directly on the camera does not flash on the camera menu you Rules on 1/128, only directly on the flash). That should, however, know in advance, because at first I suspected a problem with the radio receiver.
