Use in the dental laboratory

I have had bad experiences with the cleaning effect of ultrasonic cleaners and therefore had low expectations. Frankly, I assumed that I would return the equipment to test, but I was curious as to whether such a cost-effective variant is able to achieve something.

But things turned out differently: The cleaning effect was surprisingly good, and the water and dishwashing detergent. I use the device in Zahlabor for cleaning of crowns and bridges after polishing. The adhering residues of polishing paste are generally remove very stubborn. After 5 minutes in the Carrera Dentasonic they were sparkling clean!

If you want to remove tartar from dentures, will probably have to use a special detergent, but that's no different with more expensive devices. And anyone who thinks to get tarnished silver jewelry blank, which will be anyway always disappointed, that's not possible with ultrasound. (Here often helps the following: put in a small bowl aluminum foil on the bottom and fill with salt water, jewelry insert).

I bought the machine, not least because of its small size. It only has space for a dental prosthesis, but it saves detergent.

I can not say anything yet, given the relatively low price and its performance, but I would definitely recommend the device longevity!

Addendum: Today, four years later, I can also say something about the durability. The unit performs its duties still like the first day, at the UN daily repeated use!
