For selection of equipment were available here too the usual suspects (Bosch, Al-KO, etc.) and the more the professional sector approximate device from Stihl. Little information - apart from the manufacturer's declarations on its website and very informative review of HN-RN-AN hereby there was to the device discussed here, of Gardena, which, as already mentioned elsewhere, produced by Husqvarna. A manufacturer who does not have the worst reputation, at least in the field of power saws.
Convinced to acquire this device despite missing practice reports, me, the fact
- Of sufficient power (3000W)
- The metal-made turbine; that matters in the end the crushing of the leaves
- The halfway acceptable price (. Here Zzt is recommended to order the device on the Web site of Gardena, on this are various online retailers linked: includes shipping charges I came as a final price of 83)
- My basic satisfaction with the Gardena products to date, with this device, I expect primarily practicality and appropriate durability.
For practicality, I can now after multiple uses state:
as wind, the device holds enough power - continuously in a small range of adjustable - front, where the weight and handling of the device is very straightforward. I use this function to patio and driveway to clear: leaves, small stones and other dirt are gone in an instant; my lawn I work continues with the rake before (as I am of the opinion that the time saved during the previous Together eyes - especially in wet grass and leaves - if at all, marginal is): the leaves to a line or more piles raked and then with this machine sucked. This works fine and the result of chopping is simply to call off as well. There is a significant reduction in volume and I'm assuming that the composting takes place so quickly.
Good solution is in my opinion the conversion from blower to vacuum cleaners: Gardena called the procedure "ClickFit" and indeed there are a few no-tool handles to rebuild the machine.
The collection bag is sufficiently large, even wet leaves in large volume can be easily absorb. Emptying via zip - practical. Sure the equipment is unwieldy in this mode and is difficult according to the recorded amount of foliage. A shoulder strap and attached handles nevertheless ensure reasonable handling.
In this respect I am pleased with the unit to this point (= good). With regard to the sustainability of this review I'll spendieren at the appropriate time an update.
Update on use in the 2nd season of January 2014:
The zipper of the collection bag goodbye irreparably. Then I took up contact via email for Gardena customer service. The reaction came very quickly and was accommodating: within a few days I got on proof of purchase receipt free replacement sent.
Nevertheless, it seems to me the quality of the zipper (robust design, better incorporation into the fabric) in need of improvement, as this is still heavily used while working with the device. High praise yet for the very good service!
