Apart from this function, the Yongnuo RF-603 / C1 Funkauslöser, (eg on a Canon EOS 600D) until now properly. In practice, however annoying the following:
1. When the flash is mounted directly on the remote trigger, the on / off switch on the radio timer is no longer to achieve because it is covered by the flash (-> design error).
2. The wireless trigger is only plugged and has at its hot shoe has not its own knurled or locking screw for fixing, that is, when the hot shoe on which the remote trigger is attached, itself does not have a locking screw, all it takes is a light touch to the flash along with Remote Trigger to slide out of the hot shoe!
Usually have umbrella holder for stands on its own set screws for the hot shoe, because that's not a problem. But no set screws usually have the right popular, supplied by lightning manufacturers, lightning feet of plastic, since it is inevitable that the lightning falls sometime in the stand out on the floor!
With a little tinkering own or with available third-party adapter cable and / or hot shoe adapters can be a remedy, but then it will stop again expensive and complex!
Using the Yongnuo RF-603 / C1 as pure Camera Remote Trigger without external flash:
The remote trigger can use with the supplied adapter cable, even without flash, great as a wireless remote shutter release for the camera, it works much better than any infrared remote control (long distance + faster tripping). The pure remote tripping function without flash also works in the "Live View" mode.
From me 3 good star for the product.
