Actually I wanted to buy wooden spoon from the good German oak, but such a thing does not seem to exist, and I have not found it in the appropriate time. My eyes then much on the wooden spoon of olive wood. Olive wood is a very tough and durable wood, which is why I bought the product also. The wooden spoon is really handy and actually cover almost anything from what you need to cook tool for pot and pan. The only criticism I have is that the holes in the a wooden spoon still could have finished with a file or can be entgradet. Since this apparently did not take place, were still from a few "shavings". But no problem, because you can fix that too even.
