I bought these adapters because I had to detach the micro SIM of the SIM card of my HTC 7 Pro to insert it into my new Samsung ATIV S and I wanted to predict if I should do the opposite maneuver in case of failure of my new smartphone. In view of the various comments I have made a test with a pseudo micro SIM cut into an old phone card, with the same thickness as my SIM card is from 0.78 to 0.80 mm. First observation: these adapters have the same thickness as my SIM card; that's something as some other models are up to 0.15 mm thicker. A second observation small abutments (not notched) at the corners of housing of the micro-SIM has a thickness of 0.15 mm; as is, it is going to exceed all. By grinding slightly back corners of the micro SIM is reached to ensure that it fits without misalignment.
