The accuracy is in my opinion unacceptable, at least when rotating within the tolerance range of up to 0.1 mm. More goes well, but with difficulty, depending on the material and the turning tools used. The scales on the carriages are used to. So the division is on cross slides 0.04 mm, 0.02 mm and at the top slide on Längsschltten 0.25mm. On the scale on the longitudinal slide follows the 0 of 22.5 and the 0 then the 25, 25 mm and 0 mm are thus reversed, a mistake. Positive: there are on each carriage a scale and the scale values are consistent with the infeed good agreement.
The flight of the peaks between the main spindle and tailstock soaked with my machine over the length in height by several tenths millieter from. Side is used to adjust the flight, in the amount not. I will but that fix themselves.
Due to the low mass and dimensions, the machine tilts when turning harder / tougher materials (with the diameter increasing) something to oscillate (whistle, rattle). This is probably to be expected and can be mastered acceptable through optimized speed setting and cutting depths. Somewhere are then but borders.
Practically, the stepless Drehzaheinstellung. Downside is the correspondingly low torque at low speeds. For this, the machine requires no gearbox and therefore no transmission oil. The sound is pleasantly quiet.
The quadruple holder in my opinion is no longer state of the art, but it was probably built for cost reasons. You can work with it. I have, however, a Multifix Aa retrofitted holder which fits perfectly.
Good is also the relatively low weight. I have worn the machine in one piece alone by car in the basement.
Overall a nice and useful little machine that I can recommend for home use.
