To say the same: I have the Muvid IR 815 after a brief test wrapped completely unacceptable for audio properties again and sent back. For those who want to know more, I'll go back a little. I had initially found the Muvid as the best choice for my application after extensive research and reading the reviews available. In particular, it provides a very attractive feature mix. I run in my bedroom a relatively high-quality analog stereo system where now the CD player has given up the ghost. The Muvid seemed to be the timely replacement. So it can mean for MP3 CDs converted wireless play and also offers even internet radio. Both are known from PC and know that the quality can be quite acceptable. Next the Muvid could with his sleep timer and alarm clock his replace the timer. Finally, I thought that I simply turn the rest of my system on or off with the power from the available USB port could (will require some tinkering). - So much for theory. So I connect to the analog output of Muvid on my system and turn on the amplifier. The first thing I hear from Muvid from the loudspeakers is a loud bang just after switching on. Then the display goes on and it boots only once. Chill it takes quite a long but there are probably only about 20 seconds. When he's done it pops then again even louder. Then he plays smoothly MP3s and Internet radio. But always accompanied by a faint buzzing in the background. That sounds a little so as to be beeping on in the next room an old analog modem. The buzzing is also really quiet but if I so evening will still listen to some music .... that's not absolute. - What I have not tested but what could possibly be better the quality of the digital outputs. Somehow the enthusiastic judgments must indeed come. But there are also people who ecstatically MP3s via the built-in speaker of your mobile phone to hear. What was written on the operation elsewhere, I can confirm. Partial somewhat cumbersome but everything is possible without manual. However, describing the included manual also features and buttons that do not exist on my machine (despite the latest software). Next I had to find that the built-in alarm function does not work at. Although you can set an alarm and activate timer the device starts (when in standby) not to. This has never tested somebody. The real bang in this context, I find then that the Muvid standby the USB port do not turn off. Imagine you use to sleep the sleep timer or alarm clock that does not work, and flicker in standby continue the connected USB device. - Now I understand the value of the many mentioned power switch. Oh yes - and then turning off, he says goodbye then again with a bang from the speakers. I'll look around for something else. The real bang in this experiment was only Amazon: quickly delivered and redeemed easily!
