Taking pictures with the camera makes in bright light just joy.
However, it should be noted that in a lower illuminance (higher ISO) notice that the noise is not so homogeneous in nature is like the V1, J1 or J2. The noise of the V2 is clearly destructive. Where at a V1, J1 or J2 details still visible (and therefore recoverable by Multiframe NR), they are largely destroyed in the V2, the Multi Frame NR is therefore - with the V2 - not really effective. This especially for night owls, which is located on a truly excellent quality of the images, and the fine details do not want to just let go Hopps.
Guide to Multi Frame NR: in Photoshop
File-> Skripten-> files in batch then invite Mark planes
Edit then automatically align> levels
then convert Layers> Smartobjekte-> In Smart Object
last Layers> Smartobjekte-> Stapelmodus-> Median
finished.
It is a pity that Nikon such a fine and easy to handle camera with a 14 MP sensor equipping, which is not as good at far lower illuminance as the 10 MP instead of the conservative excellent resolution sensor of the previous models and in subsequent cameras 1er install range. The operating concept for the Nikon 1 V2, however, is far more user-friendly than that of V1, J1 or J2. However, the built-in flash is a gimmick because too weak and too little from the lens (shadows).
Basically: the Nikon 1 system makes simple pleasure, not only because it's fast, but because the image quality is good, just not for night owls in the models with more than 10 MP. In interiors, the two flashes SB-N5 and N7 SB-both make a good impression. Let the SB-N5 also be a bit weak for longer distances, the swiveling head leaves plenty of room for creativity. The SB-N7 is already a dream, and the strength with guide number 18 at ISO 100 is enough.
I'm thrilled with how small and well-crafted cameras, especially the V2, you can enjoy simple, even if I sometimes resp peas. Pixel count. Because of the destructive noise but I subtract one point, I am of revelers & Tripod muffle ...
I wish much pleasure with the great little system.
Best Regards,
Christian

Hello There,
The V2 may convince at first glance, but is handling significantly improved compared to the V1. The 'F' button can finally the rapid change of ISO, WB, Picture Control, AF and exposure fields. Goes really fast. The scroll wheel has finally over P / A / S / M ...
What is not so nice: The interval recording has gone Hopps. Have I ever been used? Hmmmm ...
Image quality: the noise has increased significantly, the color rendering and moods generally seem to me more balanced than with the V1. And that to me is also a part of the image quality. Conclusion: nothing for pixel counter, rather mood catcher.
In any case, it's a bad habit to judge on the uncalibrated monitor with 72 dpi photos in full size. As such, the V2 against the V1 at a disadvantage, it is ok, but not nearly as good as the V1 - what image noise and detail reproduction is concerned, do not give rise 4 MP more to increase the image quality but reduce these. The natural reproduction of colors vote against re-friendly.
What I do not want to miss, is the larger cache and faster data storage. Have a Sony with max. 94MB / s. The faster buffer also makes sense if you do, for example, 4K video from photos, instead of 1 second with 30 frames 1.33 seconds are now possible.
The handle is also a good thing that I sometimes, in spite of neoprene wrist strap (JJC / meymoon) went off at the V1.
All in all, the V2 is a complete package, even if noise performance and detail reproduction have suffered (here the main culprit may increase from 10 to 14 MP wear).
The question arises, why you photograph: they are concerned with mood and especially to the detention of moods (it comes in photography as the architecture but only the light) or let yourself be impressed by noise and Co.?
To me it is important that the photos reflect the mood, because if you rush something more or not is up to A3 anyway unimportant.
All-time good light,
Christian
