At Christmas last year I was given this raclette grill. Yesterday we tried it and I have to say I am just thrilled. First of all stands the solid and heavy processing. The grill is fixed and does not wobble (what our old machine did!). We opted for the preparation of food in the ocean. You can also choose instead a Alugussplatte, which is also supplied. After I had the parts cleaned and pre-treated in accordance with the instructions (rubbing the stone with oil), I heated the stone in front of 30 minutes. Then the pleasure could begin. Brave as I am I had immediately eight people to eat at the table. Small steaks of different types of meat and more vegetables were roasted on a greased with a little butter stone. Super Tender results and also finished very quickly! The pan for browning proved to be a good size. One only has to watch out that you can not "high stacks", otherwise the filled pans do not fit under the grill. But it's also not bad when you touch the upper plate, since these can be completely removed for cleaning. So no more cheese to the heater rods (like my old grill). Last but not least the cleaning. Again, I was very excited. The stone I have roughly pre-cleaned with the scraper of Ceranfeldes and then rinsed with hot water. The rest (pans) could easily be cleaned after a short soaking. Another advantage I do not want to mention also: The pans are suitable variable under the grill. That is, they can, depending on the story of four, three or two sides push. Conclusion: These are really great, well-functioning equipment, which I would recommend at all costs! The increased compared with other grills price is therefore justified in any case.
