Unlike most pop CDs, this has been almost exclusively recorded here with real instruments. This creates in spite of style mixes a common thread, leaving the production anything but appear cheap (despite small weaknesses in the arrangements). This common thread is particularly important because Stefanie Hertel here presents very different songs: new Christmas songs like the melancholic "Dezember feeling" and the really pleasant energetic "Kiss me", American classics sung in German ("Sleigh Ride", "Have yourself a merry Little Christmas "), a not quite perfect original composition called" snowflakes dance ", a dialect piece with her father Eberhard, which is particularly successful, and a medley of traditional German Christmas songs.
At the end Stefanie speaks the Christmas story - that's a really nice end because the Christian background of Christmas (just like in the song "Hallelujah") finally an equally important role is given to how the snowfall and the coming together of the family.
The exterior design of the CD is the content not quite live up to the "Telamo" logo on the CD cover is not just a decorative front and the photos in the booklet do not act just as a unified whole. Too bad, I also think the high price that has never reduced even when Stefanie's last CD and certainly might scare some potential buyers. If one looks eager (in a food trade or a Swiss shipping shop), you find the CD but then at a slightly more humane price. I hope that this beautiful, musical lovingly designed Christmas album is something attention and in which one or other Advent coffee runs - for me it is the definitely!
